When you receive the “Could not complete your request because of a program error” message in Photoshop, there are a few things you can try to do to fix it. First, try restarting Photoshop. This may seem like a no-brainer, but oftentimes restarting the program will fix the issue. If restarting doesn’t work, try resetting Photoshop’s preferences. To do this, go to Edit > Preferences > General (Mac users will need to go to Photoshop > Preferences > General). At the bottom of the Preferences window, click on the “Reset Preferences on Quit” button. Then quit and relaunch Photoshop. If you’re still getting the error message, there may be an issue with your font cache.
